Small Functional Space

Hello Darlings,

I am no rookie to spicing up a closet space, and neither are you if you've tried tips from my Closet Clean Up.  Todays challenge is to make this small space functional, it happens to be my husbands closet. Boys are already messy and having a small closet only makes matters worse. I wanted to make the small space functional, easy, and appealing to the eye.

I used the same foundational steps I used for my pantry and got to work. One thing that played a major role in my planning was making a rough sketch of what I wanted my end result to look like. I took five minutes and a post-it note and boom I got my idea on paper. I highly recommend this because it will eliminate any doubt of "will this look good" or "what should I use, this or that?"  It will also help you shape your budget!

As you can see, my husband is a 'grab n' go' kind of guy. Sleepy eyes early in the morning doesn't help. Efficiency is really the key here:

With a budget of $55, I needed to make this space functional. Target was my go-to store, and with the Red Card savings of 5% I came in right on budget at $54.

It’s better to have extra time on your hands and extra money in your pocket than extra stuff in your closet.
